Feed the Village

After eight solid years of successful veggie gardening in the clay pit of North Texas
we went on the road to find a forever home and found it in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
The topsoil here stands one-half inch above the limestone, but where there's a will,
there's a way, yeah?

In our third year here we secured an acre with a fresh water spring in one corner.
Before planting season fell upon us we built the raised bed and hauled five cubic yards
of excellent garden soil up the hill to fill it.
